Chen Hong, female, member of the Communist Party of China, founder of Jiangsu Baisaifei Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and professor of Suzhou University. Chen Hong has been deeply engaged in basic research in the field of surface and interface of biomaterials for more than 20 years, and has presided over a number of projects. She devoted herself to the industrialization of domestic medical coatings, broke the foreign monopoly of medical coatings, and served the development of the health industry with scientific and technological innovation. She was the winner of the National Science Fund for Outstanding Youth, and was awarded the title of Lifetime Honorary Fellow of the World Federation of Biomaterials Science and Engineering, Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and Fellow of the Chinese Society of Biomaterials. He is currently the editor of the international journal Colloids and Surfaces B: Biointerfaces, and an advisory editorial board member of international journals such as Chemical Society Reviews, Materials Horizons, and Biomacromolecules.
