In addition to the excitement of the booth, this afternoon, the , hosted by the Chinese Biomaterials Society, Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions, and hosted by Suzhou Industrial Park Biomaterials Surface and Interface Engineering Research Institute, 'Scientific Evaluation of Coated Interventional Devices' forum was successfully held at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai). It received enthusiastic attention and high praise from the participants. The keynote report 'Introduction to Standards for In Vitro Evaluation Test Methods for Anticoagulant Properties of Coatings' by Dr. Li Dan, General Manager of Besaifei, received widespread attention and praise at the forum.
Dr. Li Dan focused on the recently released anti-coagulant coating performance evaluation standards by Besaifei and was drafted in the near future 'Anti-coagulant Performance In Vitro Test Methods' and 'Test Methods for Heparin Anti-Xa/IIa Factor Activity and Content on Medical Device Surfaces' drafted . He comprehensively and in detail introduced the current status of standards, basic principles and various test methods for the evaluation of anti-coagulant performance of coatings. She gave an in-depth analysis of the applicable scenarios, advantages and disadvantages of various test methods, and shared Besaifei’s valuable experience in evaluating the anticoagulant performance of coatings.
