On September 22, 2023, the 'Functional Coating Technology for Medical Devices' themed seminar sponsored by the Suzhou Industrial Park Biomaterial Surface and Interface Engineering Research Institute and co-organized by Jiangsu Baisaifei Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was successfully held in Suzhou.
This one-day workshop covers the principles of common modification methods for biomaterial surfaces, characterization methods, process points and evaluation methods of functional coatings, etc. It aims to provide professional knowledge sharing about functional coatings to practitioners in the medical device industry.
Before the workshop started, Professor Chen Hong, director of the Suzhou Industrial Park Biomaterials Surface and Interface Engineering Research Institute and founder of Besaifei, delivered a speech. She said that as a key participant in the medical device industry chain, Baisaifei is willing to learn from each other and advance hand in hand with industry partners, and together continue to support the healthy development of the high-end medical device industry.
Many speakers in this workshop gave comprehensive and detailed explanations on the principles of surface modification technology of biomaterials, practical applications and evaluation methods of functional coatings. The detailed and rich training content won unanimous praise from the participants.
